Summary:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with industrial/commercial sewing machine.
License or Certification Requirements:
NoneResponsibilities:
- Irons lab coats and maintains records.
- Makes or revamps garments as needed.
- Mends miscellaneous straps on mattress covers and medical gear such as orthopedic apparatus and operating room pads.
- Operates sewing machine, heat seal press label machine, hand iron, and sewing hand tools.
- Prepares new linen inventory and maintains records.
- Removes old, worn, or damaged linen from inventory records. Sews, mends, and patches hospital linens, cubicle curtains, and drapes.
